So far these are current guidelines we have been given:
We will be taking temperatures at the door for every client, and ask if anyone feels unwell or been in contact with anyone who is unwell to rebook and not to attend. No waiting in reception, you will have to let us know you are here then wait in the car. No magazines or refreshments given.
All current appointments for cuts are just wet cuts, there will be no blowdries or dry cuts, unless guidelines change further down the line. We will offer cut and blowdries when it is safe to do so. We ask everyone to be punctual, if anyone is late appointments we will have to reschedule.
Sorry to say there will be a small charge for PPE,
PPE package containing gloves, mask and disposable gown is £4.50 or if you already have some of these and want to bring your own but want to purchase anything separately from us it will be: Gloves £1, Mask £1, and Disposable Gowns £2.50
Please remember we have to clean down in between each customer.

Introducing myself Sam Allen, salon owner with experience of 16 years. After starting my hairdressing career at Walsall College there was no doubt that hairdressing was for me. Completed my NVQ’S with flying colours and moved from college to a salon were my career and passion for went the job went from strength to strength. In 2005 Sanctuary Hair and Beauty was born, with Laura, Lisa and Charlotte being there from the beginning we definitely had a very big head start. Hi, I’m Laura AKA Lozza!! Ive had 13 years of hairdressing experience and love my job. I was trained at Walsall College through Francesco Group and worked in an established salon for 2 years where I worked with Sam before leaving to come to work at Sanctuary Hair and beauty where all us girls get on great, clients often comment on our friendly, relaxed atmosphere so please feel free to pop in enjoy a complete chill from everyday life, we would love to meet you!! Hi, I’m Lisa AKA the baby!! Ive had 8 years hairdressing experience and also work in a salon from the age of 14 as a Saturday girl, that’s where hairdressing all began for me and I knew straight away it was what I wanted to do and I love it! I also trained at Walsall College through Francesco Group doing an apprenticeship, where I was awarded apprentice of the year. Ive been fully qualified 5 years. I’ve loved the last 8 years with all the girls at the Sanctuary and I can say there not just my work colleagues that taught me all I know but there great mates too.
Hi I’m Charlotte the colour technician out the bunch. I’ve also worked with the boss before working for her! Ive been doing hairdressing for 10 years and still loving it, I trained at Peter Pyne College, that’s where I found the desire to base on the technical side whether its colouring, perming, blow drying, setting, to hair up, I can do it!!! I love being creative you can do so much, I love a challenge of a new client coming in the salon whether its the natural look or a wild look your after! When I get started there’s no stopping me lol, I make sure I’m up to date with all the new trends that keep coming out!!, I also love my girlies we have such a laugh at work and outside work! Clients always comment on have much we get on!! Its nice!!!.
Hi! My name is Sherie, aka Shez, I’m 21 and have been working at the Sanctuary since Ive been 14. I started at from a school placement working here once a week at walsall college also and every Saturday during my last two years at school. I then left school became level 3 qualified 2 years after that by doing an apprenticeship. The girls taught me everything I know! I’m bubbly fun n always leave my clients comfortable with a new hairdresser when they leave the chair. I like to give my clients options on trying new styles and colours! Colouring is something I love and like to show clients it’s not anything to be scared of! There’s nothing I’d rather do ! I love working at the salon as we all get on so we’ll we don’t just work together we’re best friends too!
